Infosys new facility in Rushikonda, Visakhaptnam: Inauguration on October 16

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the Infosys facility at the IT SEZ in Rushikonda, Visakhaptnam on October 16

Furthermore, on the same day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled inaugurate several pharmaceutical units.

During his visit, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the newly constructed Adarapu Building Complex, Larus Labs, and EUGIA Sterils Pvt Ltd company at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City. He will also have an interaction with the employees of these establishments. In addition, he will inaugurate the recently completed Unit-2 Formulation Block at Laurus Labs, LSPL Unit-2, and lay the foundation stone for Lawrence Lab Unit-11 and LSPL Unit-3.

State Industries and IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath has advised Infosys officials to make suitable arrangements, as the Chief Minister might hold a face-to-face meeting with Infosys employees during his visit.

Minister Amarnath expressed that the establishment of the Visakhapatnam Campus of Infosys in Rushikonda represents a significant milestone for the IT sector in Andhra Pradesh. He also noted that Infosys has announced plans to commence operations with a thousand employees in the first phase, which is a positive development for the IT industry in Visakhapatnam. He highlighted the government's efforts to position Visakhapatnam as an IT hub, which has attracted many companies to the region.
